Sam I have enjoyed your book very much. I didn't realize how much we had in common until I got into your book. I was at Marble Mountain when you were. I was in H&MS-16 in the Avionics Shop working on altimeters and radios for your choppers. I wanted to fly but was denied that privilege due to my MOS and the job I had to do. I wanted to fly as part of a flight crew and to be a part of that team but I realized that I had a job to do. Thank You for letting me share your experiences and know what it was like to be a Crew Chief.
